How we work
Google Apps
We use the business version of the following Google services:
- email (Gmail);
- calendars (Google Calendar);
- contacts (Google Contacts);
- files (Drive).
You can install and use these services locally on your machine (after being provided with a @brandnewbox.com account).
Slack
We use Slack to chat and keep in touch with others. It is essential to communicate and understand who is doing what at all times. The main account is https://brandnewbox.slack.com/ and if you have a @brandnewbox.com email address, you can sign up by yourself.
Discord
We use Discord for video meetings, including:
- Daily status meetings
- Pair programming sessions
- Team meetings and check-ins
Discord provides high-quality video and screen sharing capabilities that work well for remote collaboration. Team members should ensure they have Discord installed and configured for video calls.
EverHour
To track our work hours, we use EverHour.
